Sara Nemat

Ms. Nemat has diverse experience in private equity, investment banking, consultancy, and equity research. Prior to joining GarMark, she served as a Senior Investment Associate at Ironwood Investments, a boutique private equity firm in Cairo, Egypt. During her time there, Ms. Nemat played a role in the firm's first fundraising round which included the Sovereign Wealth Fund of Egypt. She authored research reports on Egypt's real estate market leading to an invitation to speak live on the "Al Arabiya" news channel to discuss the impacts of Thomas Cook's bankruptcy. In 2018, Ms. Nemat successfully passed the CFA Level 1 exam and later obtained her Bloomberg certification.  She holds a B.S. in Finance from Cairo University (through a joint program with Georgia State University) and recently earned her Master of Science in Finance from the University of Tampa as a Fulbright Scholar.
